Omnie Solutions helps D&M Holding to standardize and streamline its impactful Brand Image through Microsoft SharePoint 2010

Through migration of more than 200 disparate websites to 74, Omnie ensures a centralized content management to D&M holding’s core marketing team around the world.

Omnie Solutions announced that D&M Holdings; one of the largest consumer electronics manufacturers, owning brands like Denon & Marantz has built a global Web CMS (Content Management System) for their Internet sites on Microsoft Share Point 2010. This Web CMS has consolidated websites on 9 different platforms into 1, helped centralizing and streamlining the content management for their marketing teams and while building a very strong corporate identify and individual brand image.

Denon & Marantz experienced a decentralized website environment and lack of control in maintaining and managing 200 different consumer websites that came under the umbrella of D&M Holdings after acquisitions. The sites were running on 9 different platforms like PHP and adobe Cold Fusion, hosted with multiple vendors and maintained by third party development firms, hence adding cost to the company.

Lalit Panda, the CIO at DM Holdings mentioned that "Our hosting, development, and software costs were very high and, we did not have centralized control over our website source code or content."
